Edward C. Nemec
Managing Partner

As Managing Partner, Mr. Nemec has responsibility for the firm's national practice and growth strategies. Key initiatives include aggressive expansion, both domestic and international; enhancing CraigSearch's network of influential industry executives; and continually focusing on exceeding clients' expectations. Prior to forming CraigSearch, Mr. Nemec spent five years as Vice President of Supermarket Recruiting for a national food executive search firm; and as Vice President of Human Resources for Supermarkets Interstate, a division of the J.C. Penney Company. In over thirty years of executive search activities within the grocery industry, his practice has served a wide variety of public and private industry organizations. A significant share of Mr. Nemec's assignments have been in general management posts and for key line executives within the marketing area. 

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. Nemec received a Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University and served as an Air Force pilot in Vietnam. He and his wife, Paula, have been married for thirty-seven years and live in downtown Dallas near CraigSearch's Richardson-based corporate headquarters.
