District Managers (3)

Southeastern chain is looking for three District Managers for Florida and Georgia. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the chain's operations. This will not only include store operations but also merchandising, marketing, store layout, human resources and profitability. 5 years of store retail operations, excellent organizational, communication and time management skills and multi-unit experience preferred. Senior Real Estate Manager, Northeast

This position reports to the Director of Real Estate and is responsible for directing and managing real estate activities related to supermarket development including site selection, deal structure and economic negotiations, site and capital expenditure approval, with the ability to negotiate all legal documentation, assemble, hire and lead governmental permitting team of outside professionals. Qualifications include a 4 year college degree and 10 years experience in real estate deal making and development in a large retail format. Salary to $100,000.

Category Managers - Western U.S.

Develops and implements overall company-wide category strategy with a one to three year focus. Supports the corporate five strategic imperatives while leveraging size of the company to develop consumer focused category business plans to increase market share, sales and profitability through fact based information: consumer, competitive and intra-company best practices and trends. Job requirements are: Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or related experience. Possess field or relevant business experience where a solid understanding of marketing, merchandising, consumer research and financial management practices have been gained. GM/HBC Merchandiser - Minneapolis, MN

Successful candidate assures assigned stores meet sales, expenses, gross and net profit objectives while monitoring implementation of corporate merchandising programs and operational standards within area of responsibility, GM/HBC. They must clearly communicate the concepts, goals and objectives to the stores and all levels with the company.  Duties include monitoring and follows up on operating performance of each assigned store with specific regard to sales and profit performance of all existing and new products, maintaining current knowledge of market conditions through periodic reviews of competition, and develop improvement plans and programs with the Store Director, VP, and Area Director to achieve objectives.  Requirements:  Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 4+ years of product knowledge to include product origin, handling and presentation options, in a retail environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.  Working knowledge of GM/HBC, excellent written communication skills and a high level of analytical skills and organization skills with experience using Excel and PLU system. A leading national superstore specialty retailer with stores throughout the United States is looking for a Director of Loyalty Cards and Database/Relationship Marketing to develop, manage and execute customer life cycle, loyalty and database marketing strategies. Your focus will also be on taking the loyalty card program to a higher level by utilizing consumer behavioral data in conjunction with direct mail efforts. Provide overall strategic direction for the loyalty card program, its development, structure and marketing presence. Define and communicate business requirements for all marketing systems that interact with the customer database to ensure complete customer relationship management. This individual is responsible for sourcing and negotiating products and programs with the goal of lowering cost of goods, while ensuring quality and service by leveraging total company spend. We are looking for professionals who have the following background: 3-5 years procurement related experience. Expertise with demand planning, procurement and inventory management systems (e.g. Manugistics, SAP), and use of dashboard metrics systems for results management and reporting. Previous experience independently gathering and validating COGS data, preparing negotiating strategy, participating in and executing negotiations, developing category close and executable documents.
